Care Options for Kids in Midland, TX is seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathology Assistant to provide coordinated speech therapy to pediatric students under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

This on-site, full-time role offers $34–$39 per hour, plus Life, LTD & STD, supplemental insurances, 401k eligibility, PTO, CEUs, a referral program, and an online community of clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Current Active Texas SLPA license.
• Pediatric focus and/or school-based experience preferred.

Position Summary: The position of a Speech Language Pathologist – Assistant provides coordinated speech therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.

Experience/Requirements:

• Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Excellent communication – verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsive to requests.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.

Education/License/Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Current Active State License to practice as an SLPA in Texas.
