Job summary

Cross Country Education seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in Puyallup, WA for the 2026–2027 school year. You will conduct evaluations in speech, language, fluency, voice and social-communication, and provide therapy to help students access education.

Position Overview
Conduct speech, language, fluency, voice, and social-communication evaluations and provide individualized or small-group therapy for K–12 students.
Develop and monitor communication goals, maintain accurate service documentation, and contribute to IEPs and multidisciplinary meetings.
Evaluate and support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other communication tools for students with complex needs.
Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication strategies into the classroom and support student success.

Qualifications
Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (DOH) license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying clinical fellowship status
Successful completion of required background checks and applicable state/district employment requirements
Previous school-based experience preferred
Note: Out-of-state candidates must meet applicable reciprocity or temporary credential requirements.
