AHS Staffing is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for Albany, Oregon. This 40-hour/week, in-person contract runs for 41 weeks, serving students across elementary to high school settings.

Role includes developing and implementing individualized education/treatment programs, evaluations, and collaboration with families and school staff. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and Oregon licensure are required; experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology.
• Speech Language Pathology License as issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners.
• Successful experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual evaluations in speech and language.
• Provide comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations.
• Confer with program personnel and parents about the evaluation results and recommendations.
• Coordinate and participate in the development of IFSPs and placement determinations for eligible children.

Job Details:

Role Overview:

As an SLP, you will develop and implement individualized education/treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual evaluations in speech and language
• Provide comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations.
• Confer with program personnel and parents about the evaluation results and recommendations.
• Coordinate and participate in the development of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP’s) and in the determination of placements for eligible children.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology
• Speech Language Pathology License as issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners
• Successful experience working with children is preferred
