Oak Farm Montessori School is seeking a school sous chef to support the lunch program and after-care activities. The role involves planning, purchasing, inventory, and food preparation under the supervision of the school chef, with emphasis on safety and timely lunch delivery across campus.

The candidate should have at least two years of culinary/foodservice management training or equivalent experience, with a preference for knowledge in healthy/organic meal preparation and Safe Serv

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of formal culinary/quantity foodservice management training or commensurate experience.
• Culinary preparation experience or education in healthy, fresh and/or organic meals preferred but not required.
• Safe Serv certification expected or attainable.
• Strong collaboration and communication with children within a child-centered philosophy.

Responsabilités

• Assist the school chef with planning, purchasing, inventory, and preparing the school lunch program.
• Help ensure kitchen safety standards and deliver lunches to campus buildings.
• Support after care for primary aged children with Oak Farm Montessori faculty.
