Responsibilities

• Provide consultation, collaboration, and advisement to students, families, and staff on social, emotional, and behavioral status.
• Implement school social work services within a multi-tiered intervention model.
• Provide effective behavior intervention strategies and techniques.
• Develop functional behavior assessments and written behavior intervention plans.
• Offer crisis prevention and intervention services including trauma impact on school performance.
• Collect data and set measurable goals for intervention and track progress.
• Provide and interpret assessments to determine eligibility for special education programs.
