2 Positions Available

General Duties andResponsibilities:

• Provide behavior/SEL/mental health support to all students
• Complete student risk assessments
• Maintain required records
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed
• Provide/connect students/families withappropriate supportservices
• Connect students/families withappropriate outsidesupport agencies
• Consult with teachers/administrators/counselors to support student behavioral/SEL/mental health needs
• Punctual,regularand consistent attendance isrequired
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Must hold (or qualify for) a valid State of Michigan license(LMSW, LLMSW, SSW, and/or LPC)

• Ability to evaluate students as part of a team todetermineeligibility for Special Education programs/services
• Ability toassistin the development,implementationand progress monitoring of Functional Behavior Assessments/Behavior Intervention Plans
• Punctual,regular& consistentattendance isrequired.
• Meets all mandated health screening requirements following a conditional offer of employment
• A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Approval as a School Social Worker- temporary or full
• Possess training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques(CPI trained)
• Knowledge of MTSS and participation in the process
