LakeVille Community Schools seeks a School Social Worker to deliver social, emotional, and behavioral support within a MTSS framework. The role collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized plans that help students succeed in school.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an MI Board of Education approved program.
• Completion of 500 clock hour supervised practicum.
• Minimum 1 year as a school social worker with supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Must pass a criminal background check as defined by the State of Michigan.

Responsabilités

• Organize workload to meet legal mandates and timelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with students, parents, educators, administrators, and agencies.
• Participate in IDEA/MARSE evaluations and ensure IEP compliance.
• Administer and interpret assessment data and make IEP recommendations.
• Write affective/behavior goals and accommodations based on evaluations.
• Attend MTSS meetings and related committees.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and external agencies on educational and behavioral matters.
• Provide coaching and model positive behavior supports within MTSS framework.
• Track progress on IEPs and IFSPs as applicable.
