Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a School Social Worker for a 7.5 hour school day in Albert lea, MN. This W2 local or travel position covers K-12, with 37.5 hours per week and dates 08/10/2026 - 05/28/2027.

You will evaluate eligibility for special education, assess social and emotional development, collaborate with IEP teams, and deliver direct services to students under IDEA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• State License as a Social Worker (if required)
• Educational/Teacher Certification (if required by state department of education)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate eligibility for special education services and placement as a member of the IEP team as defined by IDEA.
• Assess social and emotional development, mental health status, and adaptive behavior relevant to case study evaluations.
• Use a holistic approach to assess cultural, environmental, and socio-economic factors.
• Determine related service needs and set goals/objectives aligned with special education eligibility.
• Collaborate with school staff on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
• Share assessment findings during IEP meetings and conferences.
• Provide individual, group, or evidence-based curriculum instruction as required by the student's IEP.
• Deliver direct social work services to students.
