Job summary

MSAD #11 is seeking a dynamic School Social Worker to join our Student Support Team for the 2026-2027 school year. The role provides school-based social work services across all grade levels, supporting student well-being and collaborating with educators, families and community partners.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or Psychology with Maine LCSW licensure and CHRC authorization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Maine Licensure (LCSW) and CHRC authorization required.
• Experience or ability to work with school-based programs and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and interventions to students, including individual and group counseling, and crisis response.
• Collaborate with special educators, support staff, service providers, parents, and administrators to address student needs.
• Assist school and district teams with social-emotional learning, behavior intervention planning, and attendance improvement efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district policies and state/federal regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering data-informed feedback to support appropriate goals.
• Conduct regular progress monitoring to track student growth and inform service adjustments.
