Step into a rewarding school-based contract role supporting a diverse student population as a Social Worker for the 2026-2027 school year. Located in a vibrant community near Detroit, this position covers a maternity leave from October 2026 to February 2027. Work full-time with an elementary-through-high-school caseload, making a meaningful impact on students daily lives.

In this role, you will work primarily with K-5 students but also support a small number of middle and high schoolers. Sessions are scheduled in 30-minute blocks, providing targeted support to 14 students 2-4 times per month and another 16 students 1-2 times monthly. The primary focus centers on IEP and 504 students, with a caseload currently at 30, and the possibility of a few additional students pending evaluations. Youll use your rapport-building, problem-solving, and intervention skills to foster student growth and well-being.
