Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. The School Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff in a school setting.   • Monitor and maintain accurate and timely records of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in school-based teams and committees to address student needs and promote school-wide initiatives
  • Stay current on best practices and trends in school social work and related fields
  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all students
  • Maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a school social worker
  • Temporary or full approval as a social worker
  • Experience working with children and families in a school setting
  • Knowledge of social, emotional, and behavioral issues that impact student success
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school personnel, families, and community agencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
