The School Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff in a school setting. They will work collaboratively with school personnel to identify and address social, emotional, and behavioral issues that impact student success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, a deep understanding of child development, and a passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic success of students.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

• Provide direct services to students, such as counseling, crisis intervention, and group work
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement programs that promote a positive school climate and student success
• Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to address student needs and concerns
• Provide support and education to families on a variety of issues, including parenting skills, communication, and community resources
• Monitor and maintain accurate and timely records of services provided and student progress
• Participate in school-based teams and committees to address student needs and promote school-wide initiatives
• Stay current on best practices and trends in school social work and related fields
• Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all students
• Maintaining effective communication with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements:
