Crescent Academy is actively seeking a compassionate School Social Worker to support PreK-12 students in a bustling district. This full-time role focuses on counseling, crisis intervention, assessments, and intervention planning to promote student success and a positive school climate.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Social Work with valid school social worker licensure and a willingness to serve across multiple buildings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a school social worker.
• Temporary or full approval as a social worker.
• Experience working with children and families in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide services to more than one school district.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students, such as counseling, crisis intervention, and group work
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with school personnel to develop and implement programs that promote a positive school climate and student success
• Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies to address student needs and concerns
• Provide support and education to families on a variety of issues, including parenting skills, communication, and community resources
• Monitor and maintain accurate and timely records of services provided and student progress
• Participate in school-based teams and committees to address student needs and promote school-wide initiatives
• Stay current on best practices and trends in school social work and related fields
• Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all students

Crescent Academy is seeking a flexible, supportive, friendly full time Social Worker! Must have Masters' School Social Work License.

Crescent Academy is a school district that serves over 500 students in grade level PreK-12th.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Social Worker to join our team. The School Social Worker will provide comprehensive social work services to students, families, and staff in a school setting. They will work collaboratively with school personnel to identify and address social, emotional, and behavioral issues that impact student success.
