Job Position: School Social Worker

What we are hiring for:

We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team at one of our partner schools in Hillside, Illinois from March 7th through May 30th, 2025! The selected School Social Worker will play a pivotal role in supporting students through small groups and other interventions.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm (7 hours per day).
  • Manage a caseload of 50-60 students.
  • Provide small group and individualized support services.
  • Collaborate confidentially and compassionately with students, families, and the school community.
  • Manage IEP responsibilities, including timely progress monitoring and compliance with all IEP requirements.
  • Conduct assessments, provide clinical interventions, and communicate findings to students and families.
  • Support students with emotional, social, attendance, and/or behavioral challenges.
  • Perform classroom observations and functional behavior assessments for identified students.
  • Use student performance data to guide decision-making and tailor interventions.
  • Contribute to a school culture that prioritizes collaboration and improved student learning.
  • Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and complete additional duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits:

AnthroMed Team Members who work 30+ hours per week are eligible for full-time employee benefits. The pay range for this position is $57,000-67,000 annually. Paid Time Off starts at 6 days and is prorated based on the start date. Benefits include:

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work.
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Social Work endorsement.
  • Experience working with High School students is a plus, but not required.
