Description

Full-time social worker to identify social emotional needs and provide individual and group services as outlined in IEP/504 plans.

2025-2026 School Year

Full Time (1.0 FTE)

Responsibilities include:

• Complete assessments related to academic, social, emotional, mental health, and family interactions.
• Participate in IEP/Eligibility meetings, providing data on social emotional needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with laws and district procedures.
• Collaborate on Functional Analyses and Behavioral Intervention Plans.
• Serve as a liaison with families, providing education and counseling.
• Utilize community resources to support students.
• Offer individual and group counseling, including groups for at-risk students.
• Conduct transition meetings for students from early intervention programs.
• Monitor social/emotional data and provide targeted interventions.
• Develop and evaluate programs addressing social emotional concerns.
• Apply Restorative Practices and participate in RTI/Problem Solving meetings.
• Support understanding of mental health and behavioral concerns among staff.
• Maintain knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
• Participate in crisis teams and respond to student crises.
• Complete necessary paperwork and coordinate assessments with families.
• Communicate with families, community, and stakeholders about students’ social emotional health.
• Support district PBIS initiatives.
• Maintain certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention.
• Keep accurate records and uphold school policies.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, including workshops and staff meetings.

Qualifications: Illinois Licensure - School Social Worker endorsement(s).
