Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker to support students in a K–12 school in Brighton, CO. You’ll provide counseling, crisis support, and social-emotional services while collaborating with school teams and families.

We welcome both new and experienced clinicians. This 2026–2027 school-year role offers 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday, with benefits and a supportive team culture focused on equity and student well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.
• Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Support student attendance, engagement, and access to resources.
• Develop and implement intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Connect students and families with community resources.
