Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K–12 setting in Longmont, CO. You’ll support students’ social-emotional well-being and access to learning by providing counseling, crisis support, and collaboration with school teams.

We welcome both new and experienced clinicians! This is a 1.0 FTE, Monday–Friday position with competitive pay up to $60/hour, W-2 employment, healthcare benefits, and licensure/CEU reimbursements. Apply to join our team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement or eligibility by start date.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families.
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Connect families to community resources and supports.
