Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Social Worker for an elementary school near Arvada, CO. The role supports students in SSN and ASD programs by promoting social-emotional well-being, partnering with families, providing counseling and crisis support, and collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams to help students thrive.

This role offers flexible Part-Time and Full-Time positions (0.5-1.0 FTE) with a W-2, benefits, licensure reimbursement, mileage, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• MSW degree or related field required/eligible by start date.
• Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; crisis response experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health.
• Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and de-escalation as needed.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
