Amergis is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Chesapeake, VA to support a Speech Language Pathologist in delivering services within school settings. The role includes clinical, educational, documentation and treatment activities under the plan of care.

This full-time, contract position requires SLPA credentials, fieldwork hours, and state licensure compliant with local regulations. Flexible health and retirement benefits are included where eligible.

Competenze

• Graduate of an SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program.
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or equivalent.
• Current certification or licensure as an SLPA in the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of prior professional SLPA experience preferred.
• Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
