Strides Therapy & Educational Services in Maryland seeks a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a private practice setting. The role operates in person at Gambrills and Annapolis locations, under licensed SLP supervision, contributing to communication development and educational goals.

The position requires a Virginia SLPA license, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 per week), and collaboration with educators, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia SLPA license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.
• Willing to provide supervision hours for licensing if needed.
• Experience as an SLPA in private practice or pediatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under supervision.
• Provide therapy interventions to support articulation, language, and fluency.
• Support treatment plan implementation and progress documentation.
• Maintain accurate records including session notes and billing documentation.
