Job summary

Career Links is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based assignment. You will evaluate, treat, and support students with communication challenges in collaboration with a special education team.

You’ll develop IEPs, provide direct therapy and maintain detailed documentation while utilizing AAC and other evidence-based methods. CF mentorship is available, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Must hold Minnesota PELSB licensure or be eligible to obtain it.
• State Teaching Credential or ability to obtain one.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations compliant with IDEA and state standards.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services for speech and language impairments.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and service logs for compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support goals.
• Attend IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings and participate in PD activities.
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and AAC technologies as appropriate.
• Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions for diverse populations.
• Provide training to classroom staff to generalize communication strategies.
