Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech evaluations and therapy in a San Antonio, Texas school setting. The role includes evaluating, therapy, consultations, and IEP services to students with disabilities under District and federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations, provide therapy, and support communication goals within ARD frameworks and district timelines.

Qualifications

Current license issued by the applicable state board to perform speech therapy services.
Ability to provide speech consultations, evaluations, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

Conduct speech evaluations and determine eligibility for services.
Provide speech therapy to students as determined by ARD committees.
Implement services per Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Develop therapy plans and recommendations for students eligible for speech therapy services.
Use District-approved assessment instruments and complete required reports and paperwork.
Attend multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss evaluations, eligibility, placement, and services.
Provide consultations regarding students' speech and communication needs.
Supervise speech therapy assistants as needed.
Maintain required documentation and comply with timelines and district requirements.
