Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) in Florida is seeking a School Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in a school setting.

You will conduct assessments, develop IEPs, deliver therapy in group and individual sessions, and train teachers to integrate goals. Must hold a Master's in SLP, state licensure, and ideally ASHA CCC, with experience in schools or pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid state licensure.
• ASHA CCC preferred.
• Experience in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Deliver direct therapy in individual and group settings.
• Monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff for effective integration of therapy goals into the classroom.
