Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• ASHA Certification and SC state licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work full days in a school environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Empathy, patience, and adaptability essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized speech language therapy plans for students.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student success.
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in EMR.
• Provide support and training to school staff on communication strategies.
