Mukilteo School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 0.5 FTE continuing position in Everett, WA. The role emphasizes equity commitments and collaboration with families, with anticipated start Jan 4, 2027 and benefits included.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, provide services, develop IEPs, and work with a team to identify eligible students. State certification and experience in diverse settings are valued, with ongoing professional development and compliance with district

Competenze

Must hold valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate as a School Speech Language Pathologist.
Master’s degree in speech language pathology, audiology or communication disorders encouraged to apply.
Experience with diverse student populations and commitments to equity are preferred.

Mansioni

Participate as a team member responsible for identification, eligibility, and placement of speech and language impaired students.
Develop and monitor IEPs for assigned students.
Provide SLP services from preschool through age 21 in accordance with IEP goals.
Evaluate and implement augmentative communication devices as appropriate.
Plan and deliver focused instruction aligned with individual IEP goals.
Communicate with parents and school community to support student success.
Attend meetings to address student goals and needs and to comply with laws.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by policy and regulations.
Direct the work of assigned SLPA and other staff as needed.
Adhere to state and federal laws and district policies; maintain confidentiality.
