Lake Washington School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 0.4 FTE leave replacement position from 09/30/2026 to 06/04/2027, approximately two days per week. Location may shift to meet student needs, currently Thoreau Elementary.

The role involves assessment, direct therapy, staff training, and collaboration with families and medical/community providers to support students’ communication skills within the educational system.

Qualifications

• Washington State ESA certificate with Speech Language Pathology endorsement.
• Eligibility to provide speech-language therapy in the school setting.
• Ability to manage a caseload and coordinate with staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide speech-language therapy and direct services as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform student assessments and contribute to IEP development.
• Maintain accurate progress records and communicate with parents and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to implement therapy plans.
