Job summary

Communities In Schools of Southeast Harris County and Brazoria County is seeking a CIS Site Coordinator to oversee day-to-day program operations at the school site. You will work with principals, teachers, families, and community partners to ensure CIS services are delivered in a trauma-informed, equitable manner.

You will coordinate services, supervise volunteers, maintain records, and develop program plans that meet campus needs while adhering to deadlines and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, education or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience with students/parents in school or community.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to travel within counties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; CIS-NAV experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for identified students during the school day and possibly before/after school.
• Interview students/parents/guardians to assess problems and determine needs.
• Maintain student records and prepare reports within deadlines.
• Collaborate with principals, faculty, students, parents and community partners.
• Engage volunteers and organize program activities; plan and implement workshops.
• Travel as needed within Brazoria County or Southeast Harris County areas.
