Job summary

Children’s Aid is hiring a Part-Time Security Guard for CACPCS in the Bronx. You will monitor entrances, assist with emergencies, and support staff and scholars under the direction of the Security Operations Manager. A NYS DOS Security Guard license and professional demeanor are required.

Responsibilities include patrolling the facility, monitoring cameras, greeting visitors, and maintaining safety protocols. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred to assist a diverse school community.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS DOS Security Guard license is required.
• Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and E-Visitor check-in systems is preferred.
• Flexibility, punctuality, and regular attendance are required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and stairwells continuously.
• Promote safety and security awareness on site during hours.
• Monitor cameras and door access and observe activities.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols of the school campus.
• Report irregularities to School Leadership and Security Operations Manager.
• Assist with emergencies and crisis drills as directed.
