Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five years of progressively responsible professional experience in school safety, security, emergency management, or related public safety fields.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality; strong collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Directs districtwide security, safety, emergency management, and risk-reduction programs.
• Develops and maintains emergency operations and disaster preparedness plans; coordinates drills and reunification procedures.
• Coordinates with law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents and after-hours emergencies.
• Supervises staff, manages budgets, and oversees contracts and security operations.
• Establishes partnerships with emergency management agencies and community partners.
