Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Security/Building Support staff member for Kenwood Trail Middle School. The role involves enforcing building security, monitoring student behavior, and assisting with study halls and detention. Strong communication and clerical skills are essential.

Starting salary is $21.18–$25.38 per hour, with benefits described in the LEAF agreement. The position emphasizes collaboration with staff, parents and students within the Panther Way community.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• PC & Mac knowledge with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, noisy environment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist administrators by enforcing building security and monitoring student behavior.
• Support study halls, in-school suspension and detention; assist with attendance procedures.
• Collaborate with staff, work with students, parents and maintain Panther Way relationships.
• Provide copying and clerical support as needed by the Principal.
