Job summary

Lakeville South High School in Lakeville, MN is seeking a Security/Building Support staff member for 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) across 174 days per year. Start date: 10/5/2026 with potential extension through the school year.

The role enforces building security, monitors student behavior in hallways and parking lots, and assists with study halls, detention, and attendance procedures. Salary ranges from $19.85 to $24.05 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• PC & Mac knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proofreading and organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Performs clerical duties and record-keeping as requested.

Responsibilities

• Enforce building security and monitor student behavior.
• Assist with study halls, in-school suspension, and detention.
• Maintain attendance procedures and build relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Support copying and clerical tasks for administration.
