Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of full-time, paid experience as a School Safety Officer for the School District of Philadelphia.
• Three years of full-time, paid experience in public safety with restorative justice training.
• Two years in a supervisory role in a public safety department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee School Safety Officers in implementing restorative practices.
• Plan, assign and direct work, schedules, and deployments for Site safety operations.
• Document daily attendance and evaluate performance of officers.
• Investigate incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and ensure safety in school facilities.
• Coordinate with administrators, law enforcement and community partners.
• Train and supervise officers in de-escalation and CPTED techniques.
• Prepare reports and conduct evaluations of safety programs.
