Responsibilities

Uphold the duties, responsibilities, and oath of a law enforcement officer.
Provide interior and exterior security for the school facilities at Souderton Area High School.
Conduct and aid in police investigations and serves as District liaison with local and county police departments.
Coordinate the District’s Security Department functions including scheduling for school events and overall general program functions.
Coordinate all security at special events; both internal and external.
Assist with the training and orientation of security personnel.
Supervise and evaluate the security staff.
Attend monthly police liaison meetings to stay apprised of potential security issues.
