Qualifications

• Experience working with students and adults in organized settings.
• Background in security or safety roles preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to work in a school environment.
• CPI training is preferred or ability to acquire training.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to report to various district locations as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior during school hours and events.
• Patrol school buildings and grounds to maintain safety and security.
• Manage pedestrian traffic and vehicle movement around facilities.
• Respond to alarms, safety concerns, and incidents to resolve issues.
• Maintain logs and prepare security-related reports.
• Assist with emergency drills and safety audits district-wide.
• Communicate safety incidents with supervisors and administration.
• Provide security presence at events both during and after hours.
• Coordinate with school resources and local police as directed.
