Job summary

Choctaw-Nicoma Park Public School District is seeking a School Resource Officer to maintain safety and security across district facilities in Choctaw, Oklahoma. The officer will establish relationships with students and staff and enforce laws to protect life and property.

The role requires a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, potential CLEET certification, and the ability to respond to emergencies and incidents on campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Oklahoma driver’s license required.
• Oklahoma CLEET certification preferred but not required; must obtain within 6 months if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of district facilities to deter crime and protect students and staff.
• Collaborate with school leadership to maintain a secure learning environment.
• Enforce campus rules and state laws while engaging with students, staff and the community.
• Prepare reports, maintain logs, and respond to incidents on campus.
