Qualifications

• Valid Mississippi driver’s license required.
• United States Citizenship.
• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• 3+ years of full-time law enforcement experience.
• Active full-time law enforcement status.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Good physical condition to perform duties as SRO.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and welfare for students on school grounds.
• Coordinate sporting events with administrators.
• Observe personnel and visitors; enforce truancy and disciplinary policies.
• Investigate possible illegal activities involving students, staff, or parents.
• Communicate information and incidents affecting student wellbeing.
• Support administrative and campus activities; serve as crime prevention resource.
