Roosevelt Middle School in New Bedford, MA is seeking a School Safety Officer to support safety and security for students and staff on campus and at events. The role requires readiness for emergencies, patrols, and coordination with local police/safety resources.

The ideal candidate will have CPI or ability to obtain CPI training, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience working with students in a formal setting.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPI Trained or ability to acquire and maintain training.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to acquire and maintain certification.
• Experience working with students and adults in a formal setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor student behavior and conduct during school time and events.
• Patrol school buildings and grounds to maintain safety and security.
• Respond to alarms, safety concerns, and incidents to resolve issues.
• Control and diffuse disturbances during and after school hours.
• Maintain logs and prepare security-related reports.
