Qualifications

• Ability to de-escalate conflicts and resolve disputes.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with students, staff, and visitors.
• Certification to perform first aid and CPR.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or school discipline.
• Solid business writing skills from high school education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walkthroughs inside and outside the school.
• Identify unclean, unsafe or disorderly situations and resolve or escalate.
• Maintain records related to security incidents.
• De-escalate conflicts and intervene to restore order; call police as needed.
• Cooperate with law enforcement to prepare reports or investigations.
• Assist in fire and tornado drills and emergency planning.
