• Provide health assessments and interventions for students and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Maintain health records and document any medical concerns or incidents.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to create health plans for students with special needs.
• Monitor and manage contagious diseases and health-related emergencies within the school.
• Promote healthy habits and disease prevention through student education and wellness initiatives.

Education And Certification Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
