Job description

Take on a dynamic role providing crucial healthcare services across a school district, supporting student well-being and fostering a safe learning environment. This full-time, contract position runs through June 25, 2027, and offers the opportunity to engage with a wide range of needs within several school buildings. The district is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) with a background in school-based care. Male candidates are encouraged to apply, although all qualified applicants will be considered.

Key Qualifications

• Active and valid School Nursing license for New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is required
• Expertise in immunizations and related record-keeping
• Capable of managing building-wide caseloads and addressing diverse student health needs
• Demonstrated reliability and comfort working within a school district environment
• Strong communication skills and professional presence
• Ability to travel between sites; reliable transportation is essential
• Willingness to complete onboarding requirements, including TB screening, physical examination, and fingerprints for both agency and district
• LPN applicants will not be considered
