Job summary

Humanus Corporation is seeking a School Nurse (Registered Nurse) to lead schoolwide and student-specific nursing services in Philadelphia, PA. The role includes medication administration, first aid, emergency response, and ongoing health support, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and an immediate start.

Qualified candidates will hold an active PA RN license, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in Nursing and School Nurse certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania RN License.
• Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification preferred.
• School nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the school health program.
• Provide schoolwide and student-specific nursing services.
• Administer medications and provide first aid for illness and injury.
• Assess and respond to medical emergencies.
• Conduct nursing assessments and provide appropriate treatment.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of health services.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide services in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and National Association of School Nurses standards.
