Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) for the 2026-2027 school year in Everett, Washington. This part-time role covers Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday at a middle school with an ASAP start date.

The RN must hold a BSN and WA state license, and prior school nursing or pediatric experience is preferred. The position includes benefits and professional expenses reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license (DOH) or compact RN license.
• BSN Degree (or higher).
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start.
• Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPs.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Communicate with families regarding student health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and administrators.
• Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings when appropriate.
• Support health education and wellness initiatives.
• Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols.
• Monitor immunization compliance and conduct health screenings as needed.

Job Highlights
