Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN-BSN) to serve as a School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year in Spanaway, WA. This is a full-time, in-person role serving students across the district.

The ideal candidate will hold a WA State RN license (DOH), BSN, and ESA eligibility. Fingerprinting and background check are required prior to start. Prior school nursing or pediatric/public health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State RN license (DOH).
• BSN required for ESA eligibility.
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start.
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPs.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
