Job summary

Idaho State University seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor in the School Psychology Program to teach three courses per semester and to contribute to research, scholarship, and service in the Master’s and Educational Specialist programs. The role includes advising, recruiting, and other college support functions.

The position is on-campus, with potential for summer and grant-related work. NASP considerations apply; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in School Psychology or related field (ABD will be considered).
• Ability to teach school psychology courses.
• Ability to advise graduate students and guide student research projects.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• A record of scholarly accomplishment commensurate with levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach three courses per semester including practicum seminar/supervision, research/scholarship, and service responsibilities.
• Advise students and participate in recruiting and other college support functions.
• Engage in scholarship and grant-related activities when possible.
