Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a School Psychologist to support students across school-based settings in Algonquin, Carpentersville, and Hampshire areas. You will collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to help students reach academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.

The role requires NASP-aligned training, state licensure, and school-based experience, with the opportunity to impact student success in a structured environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program.
  • Active state licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Previous experience working in schools or with children required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and small group counseling services to students.
  • Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs.
  • Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
