Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to join our team and support students and families across Illinois. This school-based psychology role focuses on promoting social, emotional, and academic success for children in our partner districts.

Responsibilities include counseling students and parents, participating in IEP development, collaborating with teachers and families, and contributing to multi-tiered supports.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in psychology.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist or eligible per state rules.
• Experience or specialized training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethics and accountability.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate activities with professional staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including interdisciplinary meetings.
• Participating in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with and coach families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to procedures for record keeping, eligibility documents, timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
