Electronic Therapy in Algonquin, IL is seeking an Onsite School Psychologist for the 26/27 school year to support PreK-12 students with comprehensive psychological services. The role emphasizes collaboration with school teams to promote academic achievement and social-emotional development.

The position is full-time (7.5 hours/day) starting August 2026, requiring IL PEL with School Psychologist endorsement (bilingual English/Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in school settings is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures and diagnostic criteria.
• Familiarity with IEPs, BIPs, and special education laws is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs.
• Interpret results and clearly communicate findings to families and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide counseling services to students individually and in groups.
• Consult with teachers and staff to support academic and social development.
• Participate in crisis intervention and connect families with resources as needed.
• Engage in school-wide initiatives on climate and mental health.
• Maintain confidential records of assessments and counseling sessions.
