Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an approved program in school psychology.
• Experience in a culturally diverse public school setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret cognitive and other evaluations to determine eligibility for services and reevaluations.
• Assist with assessments at other academic levels as needed.
• Provide written assessment reports for student evaluations.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and outside agencies to meet student needs.
• Participate as a member of IEP and other school teams; monitor progress and report on IEP goals.
• Provide counseling and social skills instruction aligned with IEP goals.
