Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to provide support during a Leave of Absence assignment. The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and school staff to support students academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from NASP-accredited program required.
• Active state licensure and/or NASP certification preferred or able to obtain before start.
• Previous experience in schools or with children required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
• Provide individual and small group counseling services to students.
• Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs.
• Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions.
• Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
