Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a School Psychologist to deliver psycho-educational services supporting student success. You will work as a resource to students, school staff, parents, and administration to address mental health and learning needs.

You will collaborate with educators to implement evidence-based interventions, conduct assessments, and help plan crisis response and prevention programs across schools in the district.

Qualifications

• Master's, Ed.S., or doctoral degree in psychology or a related field.
• Two years of experience working with elementary or secondary students preferred.
• Possession of a Nevada School Psychologist Certificate and License by placement.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychoeducational assessments to pupils and summarize findings.
• Provide counseling to students and families to support learning and behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success.
• Develop prevention and intervention programs for at-risk students.
• Train staff on data collection, assessment interpretation, and intervention strategies.
